"Strathmore Gold" - unique to the Strathmore Arms from Mithril Ales
February 2012 was the launch date for the new and unique brew to be known as "Strathmore Gold", exclusive to the Strathmore Arms and first brewed at Allendale Brewery. An Ale which quickly became a favourite drink by locals and visitors alike.

Since those early days our supplier of "Strathmore Gold" changed to Mithril Ales, their expertise producing a great Ale to enjoy on a sunny summer day in the beer garden, or a cold winter's day in
the cosy pub environment by the open fire, - and all the times in between! |

The proven success of Strathmore Gold is just one of the beers to have contributed to the Strathmore Arms being chosen by the local members of CAMRA - Campaign for Real Ale,- for inclusion in their landmark 40th Edition of CAMRA's good beer guide.
Less than 10% of Britain's 50,000 pubs have such acclaim and our thanks go to CAMRA members as we celebrate our first year anniversary at the Strathmore Arms.
